The KORI (The Korea Orthodontic Research Institute Inc.) was founded by Il-Bong Kim and promoters that include 12 dentists for development of Orthodontics in 1977.
Il Bong Kim, the founder of KORI was a former professor of Kyunghee University and President of Korean Association of Orthodontists.
Nowadays he is traveling around the world devoted to teaching and training young dental students and young dentists to provide them with valuable teaching of wonderful life as an Orthodontist. |

The Tweed Orthodontic Education Course of KORI is composed of a 2 year program with Basic course (First year) and Advanced course (Second year). The Basic course is based on basic techniques and Broussard Orthodontic Technic, and the advanced course is more centered on Tweed Orthodontic Technique.
Almost 100 instructors are participating in the two year program (basic course & advanced course) in 7 branches (Seoul, Pusan, Kyungnam, Daegu, Kwangju, Daejeon, Gangneung) in Korea. |
